Highlighted Features
One feature of the RAM 1500 Ramcharger that sets it apart from other plug-in hybrid trucks is its range. It's anticipated to reach 145 of the all-electric range while utilizing its 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 to power a generator to recharge the batteries and power the RAM 1500 Ramcharger. It comes with Electric+, E-Save, and Eco EV modes and also has drive modes built in to help assist further in changing road and weather conditions.
Thanks to the front and rear electric motors, the RAM 1500 Ramcharger can produce up to 663 horsepower and 615 pound-feet of torque while offering all-wheel drive capability. When you don't need the added power, the RAM 1500 Ramcharger can disconnect the front motor for improved fuel efficiency. You'll also be able to tow up to 14,000 pounds with the Ramcharger while also being able to haul up to 2,625 pounds of payload in the truck bed for carrying cargo near Brunswick, Maine.
Similar to the RAM 1500 REV, the Ramcharger is built on the STLA frame that utilizes a reinforced steel design to protect the battery and fuel and offers an independent rear suspension to help provide a smoother ride. It also has four corner air springs that adjust the ride height.
