If you have ever shopped for a truck at Key Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Newcastle, you have seen our inventory of powerful new Ram trucks firsthand. However, the new Ram Rampage might be a game-changer. This small truck was recently released in Brazil, and might soon be coming to the United States.

What We Know About the Ram Rampage

Fans of small and midsize trucks have had plenty of exciting new options to choose from in recent years, with new or revamped models like the Jeep® Gladiator, Ford Maverick, and Toyota Tacoma. The Ram Rampage (also known as the Ram 1200) presently offers a similar option for Brazilian drivers. Hopefully, it will soon be made available for customers in Augusta, ME, as well.

The Rampage looks similar to its larger Ram siblings, with a frame similar in size to the Ford Maverick. Models sold in Brazil have a 2.0-liter diesel four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 170 horsepower. If the Rampage becomes available in the United States, Lewiston, ME, drivers would likely find a Hurricane 2.0-liter turbo I-4 engine under the hood. That is the same standard engine as the Dodge Hornet, which produces 268 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.

Brazilian Rampage models come standard with a 10.3-inch digital gauge cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, and wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.
